THE Yorkshire v Durham Royal London Cup quarter-final at Headingley was suspended for 30 minutes this morning after a spectator suffered a heart attack.

Durham, put in to bat, had reached eight without loss after three overs when umpires Nigel Cowley and Martin Bodenham decided to take the players off the field pending the arrival of an ambulance.

In the meantime paramedics attended to the spectator and play resumed after 30 minutes.
