THE public are being given the chance to quiz GPs and health bosses at the first AGM for the new Clinical Commissioning Group for the Hambleton and Richmondshire areas.

It will be held at the Station in Richmond on September 18 from 1.30pm and will showcase key projects for the group and look back on its first year as the lead commissioner for local health services.

Vice-chair Dr George Campbell said: “Our first year as the NHS organisation responsible for commissioning local health services has seen us make many significant achievements, and lay the ground work for future improvements to local healthcare.

“It is an opportunity to come and find out about our successes, learn what our plans are for the coming years and talk with us about what we do and how this impacts local people.

“By listening to what matters most to people and patients regarding their health and social care we are better able to commission services that truly reflect the needs of the local community.”

*The AGM is preceded on the day by the Trust’s regular governing body meeting. Open to the public, it starts at 10am at Coverdale Suite Innovate, Colburn Business Park, Colburn.
