THIEVES have stolen wallets and mobile phones in a spate of car break-ins across the Billingham area.
Police are urging drivers to keep their vehicles locked and belongings out of view after twelve cars were targeted by criminals.
Wallets, satellite navigation systems, mobile phones and clothing have been stolen from vehicles over the last few weeks in the High Grange and Wolviston Court areas of Billingham.
Officers believe the incidents could be linked and are warning thieves that it’s only a matter of time before they are caught.
Drivers are being urged to remember to lock car doors and windows.
Anyone with information on who is responsible is asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
