A FISH tank was destroyed in a house fire.

Firefighters were called to a blaze in the kitchen of a property in Dale Terrace, Lingdale, near Guissborough, on Sunday evening.

The fire was out when they arrived but the kitchen was badly damaged and a fish tank was destroyed.

While I feel sorry for the owners of the house and hope that they have not lost too many belongings - I don't understand the importance of the lost fish tank that may or may not even had any fish in!!!!!! What is the point of the story??

I was expecting an actual Tank with a big gun on top to be honest - not a potentially empty glass box - Ironically if it had been full, it may have helped with the putting out the fire.
