AT a recent meeting of Darlington Rotary Club, president Ken Wiper reported on a week of activities, including visits to Darlington Inner Wheel and Lions Club, as well as the annual Rotary amateur golf competition.
The golf competition has raised more than £60,000 since it started 19 years ago.
This year the main beneficiary is The childrens' ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital.
The speaker was King's Church food bank manager Lisa Marsh who thanked who thanked Rotarians for their very welcome weekly delivery which is a real encouragement to them and their clients.
