• Central Park, Darlington – Teesside University’s national centre for biologics, subsea engineering and digital manufacture as well as expanding the plans for the nearby Central Park residential, leisure and commercial development between Haughton Road and Yarm Road.

• Cleveland College of Art and Design – Upgrading existing facilities at Hartlepool, including construction of a new building for creative industries that will provide additional training places.

Redcar and Cleveland College – An Oil and Gas Academy and to train people more in this growing industry.

• Bank Top station - A study into remodelling Darlington’s main train station to support better connectivity and improved journey times.

• A689 Wynyard road improvements.

• Materials Processing Institute, Wilton in Redcar – To give companies access to technical expertise and facilities to develop new products and processes.

Tees Valley Business Growth Hub – A centre to support businesses in the Tees Valley, by providing a range of funding and advice services.

• Durham Tees Valley Airport, Darlington – A new road will be built to open up access to the Southside Business park.

• Road and junction improvements at Ingleby Barwick.

• Teesside Advanced Manufacturing Park, Middlesbrough (TAMP) To provide research and validation services for offshore wind farm manufacturers as well as for the oil and gas and subsea sectors.

Longer term projects:

• A66 / Teesside Park Interchange – to improve the structure of the main access road into Teesside Park.

• Bio-therapeutics Factory of the Future Central Park, Darlington – Facilities will be created to design and develop new medicines.
