Search launched as woman, 38, goes missing near York

POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a woman who has gone missing from home.

Lisa Savage, 38, from Askham Richard near York, was last seen in the area at around 10pm yesterday, July 6.

The police are concerned for her safety and have been looking for her in and around York overnight.

Officers are now appealing to people who see Lisa or anyone matching her description to get in touch as soon as possible.

She is described as having a slim build and long dark hair. When she was last seen she was dressed all in black.

Contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option one and pass information to the force control room.
