STUDENTS at a Darlington school will showcase their creative talents at a dinner to raise funds for war veterans' charities.
The Royal British Legion and SSAFA will be among the organisations to benefit from the event, at the Education Village, on Friday.
Themed as a Mexican fiesta, the event runs from 6.30pm until 10pm and includes a home made meal served by students.

Guests will meet in the decorated school grounds, where they will be served a watermelon agua fresco, a refreshing Mexican non-alcoholic drink.
They will then take their seats in the main hall where a night of music, dance and food will follow.
A school spokeswoman said: "The meal consists of nachos and dips to start, followed homemade chilli and rice served in a homemade tortilla basket – if we manage not to burn them, side dishes to match and for dessert ice cream with a homemade Mexican pig biscuit – Marranitos.
"All of this will be accompanied by Mexican and South American dance, performed by our amazing dance group.
"Mexican music will serenade guests are welcome to provide their own drinks which can be chilled for them.
"Tables will be decorated in students work to show their research into Mexico.
"Work will also be on display to show their research in to the work of the Royal British Legion and SSAFA.
"Students have decided to donate all profits from this event to this societies, who help and support present and ex service people.
"With the work completed in school and the events taking place across Europe, they believe it is their duty to support past and present work."
