A BODY has been recovered from the River Tees after specialist police divers searched for James Miller.
The 28-year-old was last seen at an address in Stockton and police were concerned as it is unusual for him to go missing.
He had not been seen since Thursday, June 12.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that the body of a man has been located in the River Tees near to Chandler’s Wharf in Stockton.
“Formal identification has not been carried out but the family of missing man James Miller have been informed of the discovery.
“A post mortem is due to take place, police are not treating the death as suspicious and information will now be passed to the Coroner.”
