POLICE are investigating two incidents at a house in Bishop Auckland.

Two brick outhouses at the premises on Cockton Hill Road were burgled between 8pm on Sunday, May 25 and 4pm on Wednesday, May 28.

Various items were stolen, including a men’s white Raleigh mountain bike, worth £1,000, a green Qualcast electric lawn mower, a red electric leaf blower with a black sack attached and an orange-coloured electric strimmer, worth a total of £250.

Screwdrivers, spanners and an assortment of old electrical wire and lighting connections were also taken, along with two green painted metal garden chairs and a metal round table which were outside in front of the buildings.

Meanwhile, between 5pm on Monday, May 26, and 9am on Tuesday, May 27, the wing mirror on a white Ford car parked outside the house was smashed and the passenger door dented.
