Chairman of Infinity and manager of Tees Credit Union, Diane Patterson, said: "Many organisations rely on the support of volunteers and their role in our communities is very much crucial to the ongoing success of many of these organisations.
"Right across the borough we have some really good volunteers doing excellent work, but we need more to support current volunteers and continually improve our services. "Volunteering has fantastic benefits for the individual too, as well as meeting new people, they have the opportunity to use their skills for the benefit of others and learn new skills, which will increase their future employment opportunities."
