FUNDRAISERS are being invited to sign up for an annual charity run.
The Lambton 10k and 3k event, featuring runs of 10km and 3km, returns to the Lambton Estate, near Chester-le-Street, County Durham, on Sunday, June 29.
This year’s event, organised by the Foundation of Light, will feature a team challenge, designed for workmates or friends.
Jemma Garrett, events co-ordinator at the Foundation of Light – Sunderland AFC’s charity arm, said: “The Lambton 10k and 3k is one of our most popular fundraising events and this year we wanted to make sure there were more opportunities than ever for people to take part.”
Prizes include hospitality tickets for a Sunderland AFC home match and free entry to next year’s run.
