A GROUP of secret knitters have struck again in Saltburn, bringing World Cup fever to the town's pier.
The Saltburn Yarn Stormers produced their latest work by creating knitted figures representing the countries taking part in the World Cup in Brazil in June and July.
The figures include Maradona, recreating his infamous "Hand of God" goal, and show players celebrating goals, being sent off, and relaxing on the beach.
There is even a WAG thrown in for good measure.
The knitting group, whose identities remain a secret, launched their most recent creation in the early hours of this morning to avoid detection.
Their previous efforts for the London 2012 Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee brought scores of visitors to the town to see the knitted characters.
