MUSICIANS of all abilities are invited to take part in a showcase with audience members made up only of other performers taking part in the event.

The Old Mill Centre in Skeeby, Richmond, is holding another Showcase Entre Nous on Saturday, May 31, from 4.15pm, and is designed to give instrumentalists and singers an opportunity to perform in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Music director and centre owner Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole said: “The showcase is ideal for those who haven’t performed on their own for a long time but would like to have a go again, for experienced musicians preparing a new piece and for music students who want a dress rehearsal before exams.”

After the last showcase, pianist Pam Thomson said: “It’s always been a real challenge for me to overcome performance nerves, so to do it in a supportive environment was fantastic.”

Anyone aged 15 or over can contribute a performance for £5 per performer. Refreshments are included.

An accompanist may be provided by prior arrangement by contacting Mrs Sutcliffe-Cole on 01625-523397 or by email To book a place or for details visit
