BLOOM AWARDS: Bishop Auckland Town Hall will host the Bishop Auckland in Bloom awards ceremony
Experienced and budding gardeners are needed to enter the Bishop Auckland In Bloom competition - with the overall winner receiving £100 plus a £50 Homebase voucher.
There are categories for business and licensed premises, front and back gardens, yards and allotments with cash prized for the top three in each class.
Judging will be held in August with the results announced at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on September 3 at 7.30pm.
Entry is free and forms are available from Bishop Auckland Town Council's website or The Four Clocks Centre, Newgate Street.
The deadline is July 7.
