A TEENAGER was found stabbed in the neck in Sunderland.
The 16-year-old was found injured outside the Murray Library in Chester Road, at just after 10.30pm, on Saturday.
He had received a small stab wound to his neck and was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital where he received treatment for his injury, which is not considered life threatening.
A 22- year-old man has been arrested for causing grievous bodily harm with intent. A 25-year-old man and a boy aged 14 and girl aged 17 were arrested on suspicion of affray.
Officers are continuing their enquiries in the area and offering reassurance to the local community.
