Searches are being carried out in the area around The Greenway.

"Police are particularly keen to trace anyone in The Greenway around the time of the incident and who may have seen anything," the spokeswoman added.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101."

  • A 19-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident, are currently being questioned by police.
