AN EVENING of dirty dancing is on the cards for fans of the classic 1980s film.
Camp Katur, in Bedale, is inviting visitors to have the time of their lives at a special Dirty Dancing themed event on Saturday May 31.
For one night only, the ‘glamping village’ will be transformed into Kellerman’s holiday camp, the setting for the much-loved Patrick Swayze film.
The summer of 1963 will be recreated for the event, which will feature an outdoor screening of the film as well as vintage-themed activities, a fancy dress pageant and a watermelon carrying competition.
Tickets for the event, which begins at 6pm, are £15 and £25 with camping.
For more information or to book tickets, visit campkatur.com or call 0843 886 0607.
