A RACECOURSE is preparing for its final race of the season before returning with its annual ladies evening in the summer.
The JG Paxton raceday will take place at Sedgefield Racecourse in County Durham from 2.20pm on Tuesday, May 13, and will feature seven races.
After this, the venue will take a break from horse racing until Tuesday, August 26, when it hosts its annual ladies evening.
Jill Williamson, general manager at Sedgefield Racecourse, said: “Although this is the last race before the summer season, there are plenty of events taking place to keep everybody entertained.
“The team are also gearing up for the annual two day Game and Country Fair in July, to include pet competitions, clay pigeon shooting, climbing walls and much more. It’s set to be a great occasion for all of the family.”
