A teenager appeared before magistrates in Teesside today (Tuesday, May 6) charged with murder.
Dawit Kahsay, 19, of Maple Street, Middlesbrough, is charged with the murder of Natsnet Tekle Nasihi, an Eritrean national in her 20s who was found dead in a house in Parliament Road in Middlesbrough on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody and the case was transferred to Teesside Crown Court, where he will appear tomorrow (Wednesday).
