Travelling Light performs How Cold My Toes at The Witham, on Horsemarket, Barnard Castle, on Saturday, at 2pm.

The event is described as suitable for families with children aged two to five.

BIRDSONG EVENT: The Birds and Farm Landscapes initiative are holding a birdsong of Teesdale event, in Cotherstone, on Sunday, from 5.30am to 9.30am. The Heritage Lottery funded session comprises a guided walk around the village and the River Tees, followed by breakfast. Dogs are not allowed. Free entry. Participants should meet opposite Cotherstone village hall and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

PARTNERSHIP MEETING: Teesdale Action Partnership (TAP) holds its annual general meeting, in Mickleton village hall, on Wednesday, May 14, at 6pm. A new chair and board members will be confirmed. Priorities for the year ahead will be discussed, including children and young people, transport, traffic management and job prospects and enterprise.
