A SMALL part of Middlesbrough has wound back the clock to celebrate the 40s and 50s in style.

The Dormans Club is playing host to the Remember When event over the May Bank Holiday weekend with hundreds of people dropping in to experience a taste of life during and post the Second World War.

Vintage and military vehicles were joined by re-enactment groups, period cabaret and a plethora of stalls and exhibit space.

Many visitors got into the swing of things and turned up dressed for the occasion while others were able to take advantage of a range of hair and beauty salons are try out their dance moves with period tuition.

The event, at the club on Oxford Road, Middlesbrough, opens every day at 10am to 4pm with adult entry costing £2 and under 15s free.

All proceeds to Teesside Hospice and The Royal British Legion.
