Police appeal after damage caused to cars
POLICE APPEAL: The wing mirrors of four cars parked on Dent Street, Sunnyside Avenue and Jubilee Road, in Shildon, were damaged or removed overnight between Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26. Police are also trying to trace vandals who damaged a charity shop skylight on Church Street. Witnesses should call Shildon police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
CAKE BREAK: A Multiple Sclerosis Cake Break event is being held at the St Anne’s Centre, in Wolsingham, on Thursday, May 1. Proceeds will raise money for the Weardale-branch of Multiple Sclerosis. Entry is free.
