BUDDING artists can discover their creative side thanks to a series of new art courses in Darlington.
Both beginners and more experienced artists are invited to learn a range of techniques, including ceramics, watercolours, jewellery-making and life drawing at The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts, Yarm Road.
Most courses run for ten weeks, with term beginning on Monday (April 28).
Ten-week courses for families, children and young people led by the Openart Studio will start on Saturday, May 3 from 10am to 2pm.
Activities will include mosaics, jewellery-making, paint and ceramics and need to be pre-booked.
Bookings are also being taken for summer Saturday workshops, which include watercolours, textiles, jewellery-making, and painting with oils and acrylics.
To book call 01325-486555 or visit the Civic Theatre box office in Parkgate or the Cornmill Centre.
