PLANS to build 450 homes and a retirement complex in Sedgefield will be showcased to the public next month.
UK investment business ESRG is inviting residents to have their say on its proposal to build 218 homes, including executive, family and affordable properties, on land off Beacon Lane.
Plans have also been drawn up for a 60-bed retirement complex at the same loaction to deliver extra-care for older residents.
The scheme also includes a proposal to build a further 232 homes off Salters Lane, with the sale of these properties helping to fund a business hub and new education, health and training facilities, such as a GP or dentist surgery.
A two-day public consultation event will be held at Sedgefield Racecourse in County Durham on Wednesday, May 7, and Monday, May 12, between 3pm and 8pm.
The proposals have been designed with support from Gradon Architecture and Haylock Planning and Design.
Anyone unable to attend the event can also submit their views by calling freephone 0800-148-8911.
