BRENDA Collins will give a concert in Bowburn Community Centre, Durham Road, Bowburn, on Friday (April 25). The show is for over 18s only. Tickets are ﾣ3. The bar opens at 6.30pm. Proceeds will go to Bowburn Community Association and the Bowburn Banner Group.
MARTIN ROBERTS: Local historian Martin Roberts will lead a walk to discover the history of Durham's riverbanks on Sunday, May 4, starting at the gates of Durham Castle at 2pm. All are welcome for this free event.

QUESTION TIME: Durham School's politics group will host a Question Time on Friday (April 25) at 6pm, with a panel featuring Durham City MP Roberta Blackman-Woods, Professor Ralph Taberrer, Royal Grammar School headmaster Bernard Trafford and Durham University vice-chancellor Prof Chris Higgins. Places in the school's Luce Theatre are limited to 100, allocated on a first come, first served basis.
