SUMMER FUN: Town councillors in Barnard Castle will meet on Wednesday, April 23, to discuss a programme of summer entertainment. Seven events, ranging from brass band music to a medieval Day are being proposed.
ANNUAL MEETING: The annual general meeting of Teesdale Action Partnership will take place at 6pm on Wednesday, May 14, in Mickleton Village Hall. DINNER TIME: The Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, based at St Osmund's Church, Gainford, is holding a St George's-tide Dinner in the village hall on Friday, April 25. It will start at 7.30pm, following mass in the church at 7pm. The speaker will be Rory Thompson, of Staindrop, and tickets are £15. Contact 07501-110717 for details.
MAY EXHIBITION: A display of work by a mixture of new and established artists will be held at the NeST Gallery, Newgate, Barnard Castle. A preview evening will be held between 6pm and 8pm on Friday, May 2.
