CRAFTS people and designers are preparing to showcase their work in Barnard Castle.
A designer-maker market takes place at The Witham, on Horsemarket, on Good Friday and Saturday, with an up-cycling theme.
Opening hours are 10am to 4pm, both days.
Free entry.
ART EXHIBITION: Four Teesdale artists are displaying their new artwork in Eggleston village hall, on Saturday, from 10am to 5pm, with ten per cent of all sales going to the Great North Air Ambulance. The event features Ann Whitfield’s acrylics, Alan Dyson’s watercolour landscapes, Emma Gray’s bespoke jewellery and Anne Mason’s oil landscapes of Teesdale. Hot drinks and cake will be served. A preview of the exhibition takes place today, from 7pm to 9pm. Free entry.
EASTER SERVICES: Services take place at St Andrew’s Church, in Winston, on Good Friday, at 9.30am and on Easter Sunday, with communion, at 9.30am.
