FIREFIGHTERS freed a man from the wreckage of his car this afternoon (Saturday, April 12) following a collision with another vehicle near Seaham in County Durham.
The accident occurred shortly before 3pm on Times Inn Bank in Dalton-le Dale.
The man was taken to Sunderland General Hospital by ambulance.
His injuries and the exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been confirmed.
