South Durham news in brief
A LADIES day and night will take place at Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield, on Saturday, May 3, to raise funds for the Butterwick Hospice.
The event will feature performances by Kevin Cruise and the Loveable Rogues from ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, Danyl Johnson from X-Factor and 1980s tribute band Wham Bam Duran.
Tickets cost £35, including a two-course meal and welcome drink, and VIP packages cost £50. Contact 01642-628930.
