TORVILL and Dean bade an emotional farewell to the North-East last night (Friday) as they brought the curtain down on Dancing On Ice.
The Olympic gold medal winners were the stars of the show at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle and performed their trademark Bolero for the packed audience.
The tour marks the end of the ITV series which has run since 2006.
Among the other stars taking to the ice were X-Factor runner-up and Dancing On Ice Champion of Champions Ray Quinn, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon.
All were judged by Olympic gold medal skater Robin Cousins and former professional skaters Karen Barber and Nicky Slater.
The skaters not only performed to impress the judges, but also the audience, who were able to text votes for who they thought should win on the night.
