MUSICIANS will serenade shoppers in Darlington this weekend.
The event, Buskers in Blackwellgate, will see the street transformed into a hive of musical activity on Sunday (April 6).
From 11am, a number of musicians, including Elvis tribute act, Kidd Kreole, Willow Creek and Sam Davis will perform for free outside Guru Boutique, in Blackwellgate.
The event was launched last month and runs alongside the award-winning Darlington Sunday People’s Market.
Guru owner, Beryl Hankin, who organised the event, said: “It will be a great Sunday in Darlington with the music and the market, and I am looking forward to seeing even more people than last time having fun, and dancing in the street.
“We are putting this show on just because we love to see the town alive and buzzing on a Sunday, plus anything to do with good live music excites us.”
Any musicians who would like to take part in a future event can call 01325-461479.
