A VILLAGE school’s popular website is being re-launched.
Coxhoe Primary School’s website features resources used by schools across the country and beyond and attracts 50,000 hits per month.
It has now been given a facelift, with pupils’ help, and today (Tuesday, March 25), the children got their first sight of the revamped product.
Deputy headteacher Jayne Bartle said: “The children are really excited about going home to explore their new site – especially their own class pages.
“Children can share exciting moments and some of their favourite pieces of work with their families as well as easily find websites used in their lessons.
“Parents can use the website to keep up to date with school news and events and get a better picture of their child’s education.
“This is particularly supportive in the development of a good relationship between home and school.”
The website will soon be available at coxhoe.durham.sch.uk but in the meantime can be viewed at coxhoe.schooljotter2.com
