FAMILIES are invited to an Easter-themed family fun day in Barnard Castle.
The Heart of Teesdale Landscape Partnership and its partner organisations are hosting the event at Scar Top, on Wednesday, April 16, from noon to 3pm.
Activities include an Easter egg hunt, a spring nature trail, and creating plant pots out of newspapers in which to sow herbs and sunflower seeds.
There will also be information available about the Heart of Teesdale initiative and their partners, including ongoing projects, upcoming events, workshops, training sessions and volunteering opportunities.
Entry is free and booking is not required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and visitors are urged to wear appropriate outdoor clothing.
For information, call Susie Lane, the partnership’s Community Officer, on 0300-026-4903 or email: susanne.lane@durham.gov.uk.
