POLICE divers have once more taken to the water in the continuing search for missing Ben Clarkson.

Officers from the underwater search team today, March 21, scoured the River Foss in York between Heworth Green and the basin at St George’s Field with a boat.

Mr Clarkson, 22, was last seen in the early hours of March 2 after a night out at a local nightclub however he did not turn up at his home in the Heworth Green area and failed to turn up for his shift at a local music shop.

Today’s operation followed lengthy underwater searches that have previously been carried out in the Foss as part of the investigation.

When last seen Mr Clarkson was wearing a grey T-shirt with an Eiffel Tower logo, dark skinny jeans and dark pumps with white trim and white toe caps.

Anyone who has information which could assist the search should call North Yorkshire Police straight away on 101, select option one and pass the information to the force control room.
