DARLINGTON and District Soroptimists invited Hummersknott Academy students to provide the musical entertainment at their annual tea party for residents of Dalkeith House on Saturday (March 15).
Instrumentalists James Henderson and Richard Smith and solo singers Mira Wrightson and Bethannie Smith performed a varied programme.
The Soroptimists served sherry, tea, scones and cakes to nearly 30 residents.
WOOD CLUB: High Coniscliffe Woodcarving Club meets most Tuesdays in High Coniscliffe Primary School, near Darlington, between 7pm and 9pm. New members of all ages are always welcome. No previous experience is necessary. New members get four introductory sessions free. Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. Current members are aged between eight and 80.
