LIVING BOUQUETS: The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) has launched a Living Bouquet gift, which is designed to be a sustainable alternative to cut flowers. Under the scheme, people can pay to dedicate a piece of living hay meadow full of native wildflowers to someone. Upland hay meadows are one of the most rare and threatened habitats in Britain and support a unique collection of wildlife. The bouquets include a certificate and gift card, a pack of wildflower seeds sustainably sourced from northern England and a guide to one of the best wildflower meadow walks in the Yorkshire Dales. The bouquets will help raise money for the charity. For more information visit; www.ydmt.org/LivingBouquet.

DALES RAMBLE: Northallerton Ramblers will be walking from Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales to Bainbridge on March 27, meeting at Hawes at 10am. The nine mile linear walk will head to Bainbridge via Semerwater. For more details ring Chris on 07729 633419.
