AN animal charity is urging its supporters to donate furniture to its Chester-le-Street shop.
The PDSA funds veterinary treatment for the pets of people on benefits and its shop in the town’s Front Street sells donated goods to fund its work.
It is appealing for donations of good quality furniture, including three piece suites, fridges, freezers, cookers, desks and chairs.
Only furniture with the fire warning label can be accepted.
