A RURAL museum celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and is inviting local businesses to hear about its planned celebrations and projects.
Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton-le-Hole, near Helmsley, North Yorkshire, is marking its significant milestone by arranging a number of projects at the open air museum. The venue includes more than 20 heritage buildings over its six acre site.
On Tuesday, March 18, business owners are invited to look around the museum and hear from director Jennifer Smith about some of the events planned.
She said: “The museum is an integral part of the area’s tourism economy and I am particularly interested in how we can work with relevant businesses to support each other’s activities.
"I hope that local businesses will join us to hear about our plans for the year ahead and stay for a cup of tea and a chat.”
The event is free and people can register their interest by calling the museum on 01751-417367.
