MOST of a four-storey office building has been converted into student digs.
The top three floors of 26 Market Place, Durham, were formerly offices.
They are now a five-bedroom student house.
The ground floor remains in business use.
The conversion was managed by Naylors Chartered Surveyors.
Building surveyor Simon Craigs said: “We were initially brought in to advise the client on the feasibility of such a conversion.
“Our findings favour the conversion and with high demand for student accommodation in central Durham the project proved to be a great success.”
The accommodation is now fully occupied.
