A TEENAGE driver involved in a road accident which left his two passengers fighting for their lives has been arrested.
The 17-year-old was driving a Vauxhall Corsa which collided with a Mini at Bellerby Camp, near Leyburn, North Yorkshire, on Thursday, February 27.
He has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail.
The two passengers from the Corsa, aged 17 and 18, remain in James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough, in a critical but stable condition. All three teenagers are from the Masham and Bedale area.
The female driver of the Mini, who lives in the Leyburn area, received minor injuries.
