Lumley Castle Hotel at Chester-le-Street is seeking planning permission from Durham County Council fior the temporary siting of an events marquee in its grounds for things such as wedding receptions and conferences.
New roof: Durham County Council is being asked to grant planning permission for a pitched rood to be built over an existing flat roof at the front of a property in Primrose Hill, Bournmoor, near Chester-le-Street.
Tai Chi: A weekly class in Tai Chi aimed at beginners will be held on Tuesday morning from 9.50 to 10.50am in the Chester-le-Street Community Centre, Newcastle Bank. The cost is £2.
