STALLHOLDERS are being sought for a pre-school’s fundraising nearly-new sale.

St Osmund’s Pre-School, in Gainford, is looking to boost its funds with the sale of nearly-new goods for babies and children, an Easter-themed afternoon tea and children’s crafts, at Gainford village hall, on Saturday, April 5.

The pre-school, which is a registered charity, is inviting people to rent a table, for £5, from which to sell their goods, such as equipment, toys and clothing, at the event, which runs from 2pm to 5pm.

There are 15 tables available and the rental money will go towards pre-school funds.

Sharon Meads, pre-school leader, said: “It made sense to hold an event that helps parents and carers and that benefits St Osmunds Pre-School.

“While the adults enjoy an afternoon tea, the little ones will be able to have fun making Easter baskets.”

Julie Semple, chairwoman of the pre-school, added: “We thought it would be a great idea for people to be able to rent a table and then keep any money they make from selling children’s things which they no longer need.”

Tables for the sale must be booked by Friday, March 21.
