What? Thomas Bewick and His Apprentices.

Where? Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle.

When? Monday, 17 Feb - 3 March.

Thomas Bewick is famous for the small-scale wood engravings he and members of his workshop produced, often published as illustrations in books. Less well known are the drawings and paintings also made by these artists. This exhibition looks at a range of work from the Laing Art Gallery collections made by Bewick and his pupils, some of whom, such as Luke Clennell, went on to be better known as painters.

When? Monday. Feb 17 Following the sell-out Cheap Flights tour, three Olivier Award nominations and over 10 million YouTube hits, Dillie Keane, Adele Anderson and Liza Pulman celebrate 30 years of Fascinating Aïda with a brand new show Charm Offensive.

Expect topical new songs hot off the press, plus some outrageous old favourites, as Fascinating Aïda continue to grow old disgracefully.
