Stokesley Round Table has organised a race night to raise funds for a new headquarters for Stokesley guide and scout groups. The event will take place on March 7 at the current scout and guide headquarters on North Road in the town. Tickets are £6 including a pie and pea supper and the first race will be 7.30pm. Horses can be sponsored for £3 each and races can be sponsored by businesses for £10 each.
HEALTH WALKS: Hambleton Strollers will be staging a health walk in Stokesley on Wednesday, February 19 from the Co-op car park. The walk will be approximately one hour. There will be similar walks of less than one hour in Swainby, from the Village Hall and Northallerton, from Mowbray House Surgery, on Tuesday, February 18. For more details ring; 01609-771624.
