Nominations are being sought to find the unsung heroes of Sedgefield in County Durham
NOMINATIONS are being sought to find the unsung heroes of a County Durham town.
Sedgefield Citizen of the Year celebrates people who go the extra mile to serve the community and is open to anyone who lives or works in the town.
Sedgefield Town Council and Sedgefield Development Trust are urging residents to nominate friends and acquaintances they believe deserve recognition for their exceptional contributions during 2013.
Nomination forms have been sent out to every home and extra copies are available at the town council offices on Front Street.
The deadline for entries is Friday, March 28.
The winner will receive their award at the annual town meeting in May.
