VETERANS, military personnel and family members are invited to sign up for a paediatric first aid course at the Help for Heroes-run Phoenix House Recovery Centre in Catterick Garrison.
The one-day Emergency First Aid Training Course for parents and child carers will be run by Bradford company First on Scene on Saturday, March 15 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Students will learn basic first aid procedures and how to take charge in the event of an accident or illness involving children and babies. There will be assessments during the day and Emergency First Aid for Parents and Child Carers certificates will be awarded, which are valid for three years.
Accommodation is available on request.
