Body found new County Durham footpath
POLICE said there were no suspicious circumstances after a body was found near a footpath.
A member of the public found the hanged body of a male beside a footpath close to Hownes Gill Viaduct, Consett, County Durham, on Saturday evening.
Police said on Sunday night that no more details were being released at the present time.
