TEA PARTY A tea party with coffee and cakes will be hosted by Skerne Park breast feeding group on Thursday, February 27. The event will take place from 1pm until 3pm at Skerne Park Children’s Centre.
PEPPA PIG Peppa Pig’s Big Splash will provide entertainment for children at Darlington Civic Theatre this half-term. The show will take place on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15. Tickets range from £13.50 to £15.50 and can be booked by calling 01325-486555.
RACE NIGHT A race night to raise funds for Darlington Community Carnival will take place at Darlington Football Club on Grange Road on Saturday, March 15 from 7pm. Tickets are £5 and include pie and peas. They can be bought from Guru Boutique or by contacting Gary Shove on 01325-488910.
EXCAVATION UPDATE A meeting of the Darlington and Teesdale Naturalists’ Field Club will see Tim Laurie deliver an update on recent excavations in Swaledale. The meeting will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College on Monday, February 10 from 7.30pm. For more details, call 01325-466471.
