Amateur singers and musicians are being invited to display their talents on stage at an open microphone night at the Scarth Hall in Staindrop near Barnard Castle.
There is no entry fee for taking part and the audience will get in free for the show on Friday, February 7. The idea is to give performers some experience, and possibly to be booked for other events in the area.
The Vintage Pipers, led by Pipe Major Barry Waldron of Staindrop, will be among the acts. Others can just turn up on the night, ready to start at 8pm. There will be a bar and raffle ro raise funds for the hall.
